Privacy Policy
Timmyversal is the film, music and game studio of Timothy Mahoney, an independent developer in California, USA ("we", "us"). On the App Store our games and apps are sold under the name Timothy Mahoney. This policy covers those games and apps and this website, timmyversal.com.
The short version
Our games don't collect personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your progress stays on your device.
Our games and apps
- Saved progress and settings are stored only on your device. We never receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.
- No accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. We don't use advertising identifiers or third-party analytics or tracking tools, and we don't sell or share any information about you.
- Streamed videos. Some games play videos from our video host (Cloudflare). To send you a video, your device makes an ordinary internet request, which includes its IP address. That address is used only to deliver the video. We don't keep it or use it to identify you.
- Links to other services. Some buttons open other services, such as YouTube, Patreon, Bandcamp, Apple Music, a merch store or our websites. Those services have their own privacy policies.
- Apple. Apple handles downloads and payments under its own privacy policy. If you turn on sharing with app developers in your device's Analytics settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. We can't link them to you.
This website
- No accounts, no cookies of our own and no advertising trackers.
- The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
- Videos on this site may be embedded from YouTube or Vimeo. Nothing loads from those services until you press play; when you do, that service may set its own cookies. Where we can, we use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and Vimeo's do-not-track setting.
When you email us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you send. We use it only to reply and to fix problems. We keep it in our email (Google Workspace), and we never add you to a mailing list or share your address.
Children
Our games are made for a general audience, families included. Because they collect no personal information, children can play without sharing any. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us personal information (for example, by email), contact us and we'll delete it.
Your choices and rights
The games hold nothing about you on our side: deleting an app removes everything it stored on your device. For anything you've sent us by email, you can ask us to show it to you or delete it, and we'll do so within 30 days. Some places give you these rights by law (the EU and UK, California and others). We honor them for everyone.
Changes
If what we collect ever changes (for example, a new feature in a game), we'll update this page, and the date at the top, before the change reaches the apps.
